Anyone up for a road trip?

April 08, 2023 11:04AM
Here's a wild and crazy idea.... let's all meet at a place to be determined (discussed below) to see the last Total Solar Eclipse in the USA for the next 20 years!!!!

April 8, 2024... so you can't say you don't have enough time to plan. Of course you can say, "I don't give a rats ass about a total solar eclipse and wouldn't drive to the end of my block to see it". laughing smiley

Here's a map of the places where (path) it will be visible. (Steve and Mama wouldn't have to travel far AT ALL, almost in their backyard - probably some of the rest of you as well).

Now as to where... I would recommend here: (You might recognize the place)

Nearest town to there is Mexican Hat, Utah. (4 Corners area). I've been there many times... it will be specactular from there BUT... lots of other places along the path of the eclipse.
