Mystery/Thriller.... in somewhat of a vintage tradition. Starred Mark Rylance... know him? I didn't. His face was vaguely familiar. I checked out the movies he's been in and yes, I had seen a few of them... but I do not recall him standing out in any of them... in this one he did. Reading about him on IMDB they started his bio by saying:
"Widely regarded as the greatest stage actor of his generation,..... " - I can see why.
I thought he was very good. The rest of the cast? not so much.... but Mark, I thought, shined. The movie?
Yes, I liked it. Quite a bit. As you know I don't make movie recommendations... or at least I do so very rarely. So... this isn't a recommendation. If you're in the mood for a pretty good, (I think better than that), mystery/thriller then this should make for an enjoyable evening. Warning - it does move slowly - completely necessary and well done IMO but if you're the impatient type then it could be hard for you to watch.
