I agree with your family, not you....

Snowboarding should be illegal. It's not the board itself... it's the attitude.

When it was only ski's the only worry I ever had about hitting another skier was running into a beginner who had lost control; and that almost never happened because they weren't on the same runs I was one.... well, unless I was going all the way down to the lodge in which case you have to ski some beginner or intermediate runs to get to the lodge. With snowboarders they are a threat at all times.
