From what I've heard, anyway.. Just hate to hear it.. I think that's what Patrick Swayze died from?

Also Steve Jobs, although Jobs lived with it longer than just about anybody else I've heard of who's been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I guess it depends, too, on the type of pancreatic cancer. Jobs had pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer which is the only kind of pancreatic cancer that is treatable and curable. It was diagnosed in 2003 and died in 2011. Because Jobs refused his doctor's recommendations for treatment and insisted on alternative treatments, he ended up in declining health which eventually led to his death. His life would have most certainly been extended had he listened to his doctors (I realize there are no guarantees here) but by the time he felt ready to finally do that, it was too late.

I do remember the head of the NFLPA, Gene Upshaw, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008. He died 3 days later on Wednesday.night, Aug. 20, 2008. I've never heard of anyone dying that quickly after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
