KRams
If opposing QBs are going to continue getting rid of the ball in 2-2.5 seconds like they have against the Rams, (and I believe they will continue), wouldn't an Edge Rusher have to be in the backfield in under 2 seconds to have any impact?

You are correct KRams except I think it would be closer to the 2 second mark. Do you know anyone who has that ability to do that consistently and be able to play the run and drop into coverage when needed too?

Maybe it would be easier to "adjust" the scheme a little so that the QB's HAD to hold the ball a second or two longer?
Maybe play tighter coverage more often so the QB has to read more at the snap as opposed to a "pre-snap" read?
Maybe design better "stunts" or "blitzes" to free someone up so they can get there quicker?
Maybe "disguise" things better pre-snap instead of ALWAYS showing the 8-10 yard cushion pre-snap?

#HelmetHornsMatter

“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.

“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
