After referring to the 99 season in another post. Say the Titans get that one yard and we go to OT and THEY win the toss??? If you were Vermeil, would you consider BENCHING several players on D?? I mean...Kevin Carter could barely stand up. Our D was fading and the Titans O was getting STRONGER.
Had the Rams won the toss and had a drive end with a punt but maybe 3-4 minutes knocked off the clock, I might think again. But had we gone straight to D after the toss??? I think it would have been game over and a Titans win.
