I've always thought the world of the guy and respected the hell out of his efforts and game. The guy was just one of the most tenacious guys on the field.
In my eyes once he started getting into the MLB in Portland stuff things began to change. I get it, a football career doesn't last forever, go for it and diversify. Dude should have retired, watching him this season has been embarrassing. For the first time ever, I've seen him in a couple of games this year where I wondered if he cared at all about losing and playing so poorly. But that's just my vibe.
