And out of all of them, McVay won a Super Bowl. He also got the Rams to another, which the likes of Allen (1st time) & Knox (1st time) could not do. Bringing back Allen in 78 & Knox in 92 was a mistake as the 2nd choices were Bill Walsh in 78 & Mike Holmgren in 92.
