Amazing how smart McVay looks with a functioning O-line and short fields

Even Romo was talking about how special he is as a coach and play caller. For whatever reason - the line suddenly gelling like intstant pudding or the broncos quitting before the opening kickoff, there was time to throw and make reads and run for more than a yard. Plays worked. And kept working. And short fields. How great to see a few short fields? That seemed like a combo of an awful russ and the d finally holding on to balls thrown at them.

And it's even more amazing when you think that this was like a preseason starting lineup on offense. There were even two tight end sets in there as a special christmas gift.

The only sad part is thinking back on the end of the Bucs and Seahawks games. I know the Broncos were mailing it in, but playoffs would have been a nice capper to an otherwise crap season.
