Yesterday's game the blueprint for 2023! Run the ball....

December 26, 2022 06:43AM
1. Make a commitment to run the ball. RBs ran it 31 times yesterday. As Romo said, running the ball is the foundation of the offense and sets up the pass.
Draft a stud RB early to pair with Akers to do that. Remember, Akers in the final year of his contract. Also running the ball helps the oline.

2. Short passes to set up the long ball. So tired of seeing Stafford drop back and try to complete a 30 yard pass on 3 and 6. Look at yesterday....good QBs use all parts of the field and yes, incorporate the tight ends!!!! Rams need a legit TE #2 and to actually use their tight ends.

3. Pass rush finally appeared. Rams desperately need to find that pass rush like they had in last year's playoffs. It has been nonexistent all year. Draft an edge high or sign one in free agency. Yesterday showed what a great pass rush can do. Makes the DBs better and creates turnovers.

4. Finally the Rams got some turnovers. I get it they had a lot yesterday.... what did they have 4 maybe 5....but 1 or even 2 would be nice. Creates a short field for the offense.
