He only seemed to have control because the the ball was being supported by the defenders helmet, to me that ball was out being supported in place by the RAM helmet, not the TE's hands.....At any rate what does the guy mean when he said the ball was dislodged....... not fumbled, and not losing control of the ball, but dislodged?
To me it is another example of changing verbiage/interpretation of the rule book. Now a ball can be dislodged, which is different then losing control or not keeping continued possession of a ball. A dislodged ball isn't a fumble is what I got out of the guys spiel.....
