1987, likewise. I remember how nice 1983 felt because it seemed like a LIFETIME since we saw the playoffs. I ALMOST did not care that we got spanked in DC 51 to 7. We had just beaten Dallas and were BACK! I bring this up and I think. HOOOOOOWWWWWW did we survive 1990-98 and even WORSE, 2005-2016?? Those were two VERY VERY long streaks of absolute GARBAGE! ESPECIALLY 05-16!
This season, for some reason, it has a feel of 1987. And just like then, I think we will rebound nicely the next year. 1988 and 89 turned out to be a couple of fun seasons.
