I guess Sunday Ticket is now for cord cutters with great broadband

December 22, 2022 08:57AM
I'm not going to pay 65 bucks a month to stream tv and then pay extra for the nfl sunday ticket. I have DTV and it's fine. Probably too expensive, but fine. Mostly it works. They've been giving away sunday ticket for a while now. Would be nice if nfl network kept the redone channel on dtv. I stream a lot of show and have great internet (or so my bill says) but it's not up to satellite yet. It's just not. It lag sometimes, goes low rez at times - overall it can't match dtv. I don't like watching the games on prime for this reason. Plus switching from program to program is not exactly smooth. I watch hockey on ESPN plus and it has the same issues - but I put up with it.

So I guess if you live in a rural area / or don't have access to the bandwidth you need to stream flawlessly you can just suck it.
