After the Browns, Mayfield appeared in seven games with the Panthers, who have been an unstable mess since Ron Rivera left town. His TD to INT ratio of 98 to 62 isn't bad. In his brief NFL career, he has had seasons with passer ratings of 93.7 and 95.9. He is only 27 years old. He could have something to offer. Certainly worth giving it a shot.
