There is only so much wear a body can take.
Even without the preseason our guys played 21 games last year.
I'd blame last season for this season's injuries, but the Bengals don't seem to be abnormally injured.
They had it much worse in the 50's - 90's when they played less games but had grueling practices where they actually hit each other
But then again, it probably helped them stay healthy
Tho, the NFL did the players and teams no favors by not expanding the roster and salary cap to help with the 17 game schedule
And need to go back to all grass fields
