The Rams under McVay have never put a high priority on O Line, but when the NFL made all the rule changes that limited the amount of contact in practice that really hurt the Rams. With the lack of practice comes the lack of timing, which basically makes it bully ball or survival of the fittest, the Rams did not put a high priority on O Line, they feel their scheme will assist them lin. We never get those road graders or those maulers that go in the early rounds we get guys in the later rounds because the O line is not a high priority. Now with the new rules we need O lineman that can dominate with minimal practice and they are fond in the first and second rounds.

McVay is a smart coach and will adapt, Morris on the other hand has taken a defense with three potential HOF's and they look like they do not practice or watch film, Jalen Ramsey has regressed under his watch and people are talking about moving him to safety, he is fine he just needs coaching.
