Funny how this board has turned. We went from 'why is he taking a roster spot' and McVay and Snead are too proud to admit their mistake and cut him to...'why hasn't he been playing major snaps since opening day'?
I don't know, maybe he has taken time to develop his route running, blocking, and understanding of defensive alignment checks and adjustments and he's just now getting up to speed enough to be productive? No, that can't be it, it must be criminal negligence.
I don't think a "light" just came on promo. Even Tutu's biggest critics were saying to play him more and "if you not going to play him, why is he taking a roster spot?". It just didn't make sense why McVay wouldn't play the kid if he was any good at all. I still am not sure why. lol
I still don't think he was the best pick for us and question his durability too. I still think the better pick was Humphrey at that spot. I still don't see Tutu as a full time WR based on his size. If he can stay healthy, IMO, he might be a good "slot" WR.
There's nothing wrong with people giving credit where it is due. The last 2 games, Tutu has earned it. Up til then...not so much. lol
Calling his fans and family "clowns and MF'ers" wasn't very endearing either for a player who hadn't done a single thing up until that point.
IMO, he got "heat" when it was merited and deserves the credit for the same reason..he is working hard for it and it shows. JMO
The final chapter in the book of Tutu hasn't been written yet. He still has time to write a very good ending!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
