Why would we want Joe Barry back? He’s seemingly struggled everywhere he’s been.

Barry is a very good position coach (L, however, has struggled as a DC with the exception of last season. The Ram OLB's have really struggled under Thad Bogardus as I believe Bogardus is a tad over his head. Barry could come back or they could move Chris Shula back to coaching OLB's from the Secondary and look to bring back Aubrey Pleasant as CB Coach and add someone else as the safety coach.

It's always fun to talk about "bringing back" former players and coaches but does it usually work out?

It always seems hard for the player or coach to live up to the expectations. I think that's why you don't see it happen often. We just brought back Malcom Brown. Most people were saying if we brought him back, he would make a difference but he just wasn't the same player anymore and it also is a little bit different offense now too.

For some reason players and coaches always seem "better" in out memories than real life. lol

Maybe bringing back a coach is easier than bringing back a player but I still would rather go with somebody new. Someone with "new" ideas.
