You'd have to explain what you mean by "jumping routes" and if you are talking about man
or zone techniques.

I think you are simply seeing a difference in success rate using similar approaches.

It's like when people say the defense plays more "aggressively" when they do well
and are passive when they don't. When the scheme and approach are similar

I'd be wary of just looking at results and making judgments. Sometimes you have
to watch pretty closely.
