Whit seems to really enjoy his family and he played until he was 40. The trait that elite players share is their love of competition and the game of football. As we've seen it's very difficult to walk away from that (Farvre, Brady).
Maybe you don't like the Rams winning, I do and so I hope he still plays for a few years. If you have an elite QB you always have a shot at the playoffs. And once he's gone it may be a long time before we have success again. Unless we swing another mega trade for a vet.
