Re: It’s time for Sean McVay to give up calling plays…

I don't think he needs someone else calling plays, but needs to be better in doing so himself. Last season he called the plays and we won the Super Bowl. This year, we are down to our 5th string RG, 3rd string LOT and 3rd string QB and people want to blame our problems on the play calling? How about blaming the trainers? How about the surface of SoFi's field? Maybe the champs partied too long. Maybe we should've played guys in the PS? We could try to blame Snead, but he did hire McVay and get the players to win a championship. It is really just really bad luck.
And our Super Bowl winning squad was incredibly talented but thin. And the thinnest area was the OL and after Whit retired and our RG left as a FA we were even thinner. Then everyone got hurt. Bruss, Allen, Boom, Shelton, Edwards, Ancrum, AJ. That's seven of our best 8. Without an OL you can't run or pass. Give the headset to anybody and they couldn't do better. Basic plays don't work because your 5th string RG instead going to even slow down a number one DT. Can't run screens as it takes a unified OL with great timing.
