This year's defense is consistently good at not allowing points, but it isn't a fun defense to watch. We bend but don't break. So the opposing O drives down the field easily inside our red zone, stalls, and kicks a FG. We don't attack. We don't get a lot of sacks. We don't get like any interceptions. We cause fumbles but don't recover them. We don't get a lot of big hits in the backfield. No much to enjoy as far as watching. The O has been a non starter all season. They are a mess. It was the CK show on every play and now he is out. We have no exciting RBs. We have the one incredible WR who is now out and we have one big TE who has his ups and downs. Our fastest players don't play. Tutu and Harris just blaze, but never see reps. KW might be an exciting RB going forward, but he was hurt. This isn't an entertaining bunch right now. And we lost our very entertaining STs players. Legatron was exciting as he could drive the ball 70 yards. Hekker was an exciting punter in that he could boom it or pass it. Now, they're both gone too.
AD is an incredibly exciting player but the O knows they need to snap and throw. And they do. Sometimes he gets there anyway, but they have nullified his ability. Our QB is an exciting player but hasn't had a chance to shine because he has no time. It is hard to watch.
