After Sundays debacle and before I went to bed I watched The Tackle and the AD stop vs the Bengals on 4th down.
Put a smile on my face .
Became a Rams fan mid 70s and at some time I felt I would never in my lifetime witness a Rams SB victory. Even those great John Robinson teams of the mid and late 80s were denied, once by one of the all time best defenses in the Bears, once by one of the all time great 49er teams. Both years Rams were the second best team in all of football but had the bad luck to run into teams that were even better.
Then came the miracle 99 season and I remember just as yesterday how I jumped up and down in my living room, yelling in pure joy at about 4.00 am in our then small appartment in Augsburg, Germany.
I knew whenever my day comes I would remember the feeling I had back then.
Felt the same when AD made that tackle. Now I had the privilege and joy to witness to SB championships. Feeling blessed. There are many other teams and fans who never have felt hat joy , just ask the Vikings or Bills. Both losing 4 SBs , never winning one despite their great teams back then.
Sunday was bad and the entire 2022 season looks to be going in the wrong direction but we are still the champs. No one ever can that take away from us. Never.
