Shanny knows it and uses it against him. Hindsight that Shanny comment about neither I nor McVay ever change we believe in our systems. Was just mental jiujitsu to get McVay to play right into his hands. First half off the bye the Niners were on their heels and the Rams had the lead but McVay's ego made him revert to HIS offense in the 2nd half the one that the Niners have a phD in destroying and that is what they did. Why not stay with the smoke and mirrors that was working in the first half at least until the Niners stopped it in the 2nd? There might be many reasons but the #1 suspect is...EGO.
