Faulk was a rare back who needed minimal blocking. The passing game?? Thank God we had Faulk for that. People always talk about Faulk carrying or catching. IMO, his BLOCKING was HUUUUUGE! I have never seen a better blocking RB on the Rams. Then there's the fact that Warner got rid of the ball very quickly. Even while the Rams were scoring like a pinball machine, Warner....WITH a great blocking RB.....was getting OBLITERATED! Just look at Super Bowl 34. They SERIOUSLY thought about sitting him in the second half because he was getting crushed. The game winning TD to Bruce...Look at how hard he got popped on that play! I'm not saying the GSOT was bad. Not at all. Just nothing special....IMO.
