It was a rare case of Kupp losing situational awareness.

Yes, he was trying to stay in bounds. But Kupp is very good at getting YAC. And he typically gets it by being aggressive and lowering a shoulder. I mean...we all know that he's not Derrick Henry, but he typically makes you tackle him. For some reason, he chose to slide this time and forgot the rule that says the ball gets marked where the slide begins. Either that, or he thought he already made the line of gain.

Regardless, it was a rare oversight by him.
