I'm not saying Perkins is the "best" QB

Far from it. I'm not even saying he's going to win games.

But obviously the current O line can't allow Stafford to play at his best.

And the O is having an awful time even getting 20 points a game.

Perkins would open up another option, a running QB. Something opposing defenses would have to think about and scheme for every game.
