Listening to the post-game call-in show and a caller pointed out how the end of this game bore a remarkable resemblance to the end of the Week 18 match-up against the 49'ers last season.
If you don't recall, the Rams needed a first down in that game to put it on ice.
What did McVay do?
He ran it 3 straight times to use up the 9'ers timeouts. After the game, McVay said that he'd likely do things differently.
