When asked what he'd tell his players after a game like this, he said, "Tell them the truth."

He then went on to say that the defense played well well enough to win the game, but that the offense was the problem and he's in the middle of that.

I didn't hear much of his post-game comments after the Super Bowl loss to the Patriots, but this was as down as I've ever heard him.

You could hear the emotion in his voice and it appeared clear to me that he might still be processing some personal issues.
