It's okay, the Rams are a victim of their own success. Other teams are now making trades when they didn't and the 49ers had more draft capital to outbid the Rams and they did. Rams pivoted to try and acquire Burns, but the Panthers decided to keep him. It's like hey if the Rams want him that bad, he must be good. No worries, that's how it goes and hopefully the Rams can pivot and start drafting well to replenish their team moving forward.
to be honest, I am happy those trades did not go threw. Would have killed the Rams foreseeable future and IMHO they have to many other issues to be serious SB contenders this season. Bills, Chiefs look to be on a different level and the Eagles, Vikings and niners look superior to our Rams too.
I do not hinkg Burns and CMC would have made a differene with our weak o-line l
