I agree with your assessment of what is wrong with the Rams, mtramfan, it is on McVay. I noticed post game how he tried to insinuate that the problem is with the OL. When in fact McVay is calling plays that is making things more difficult for his OL instead of trying to make things easier for them. Run blocking is much easier than pass protection. In my view McVay is at the root of this offense's lack of production. He took credit when they were going great, hence the nickname Boy Genius, now he has to shoulder the blame for his offense's failures.
