That is dead on accurate, JM.
Von Miller was the catalyst for the Rams' pass rush against the 49ers. Without him, the Rams can not generate enough rush pressure against their physical OL.
The 49er blocking scheme will key on Donald, and force the other players in the front seven to win individual pass rush matchups. The problem is that no one else in the defensive front 7 is good enough to consistently win these one on one matchups on their own.
The Rams desperately need to figure something out or I'm afraid they won't have much of a chance.
