The Panthers will most likely come out ahead in this deal. First, they save a ton of cap space on the deal. They get 4 pretty high picks. McCaffrey could get hurt again and the Niners might not finish strong. Those picks could improve to higher end of the 2,3,4 round. With 4 shots at it they could hit on a star player.
The Hershel deal was crazy when it was made.
It was like 8 for 1. The ED trade was wacky too.
