about 2 hours or so from here, outside Asheville. Built by Vanderbilt, finished in the 1890's. Staying over and checking out the gardens, like 8000 acres of woods etc. Got a winery on site, great food spots. Gonna be football free for 48 hours. The leaves have started going off their max up there but they are still on the trees. The place is off the hook during the Holidays...lights etc, sleigh rides too I think.
Gonna still see Wake and Syracuse and UCLA and Oregon on Sat.......after that it's nature world, and wine tasting, with some food in between......
