6th in points allowed. 16.3 per game. thats good enough in theory to win every week. Esp with a McVay offense.
6th in total yards a game at 301.3. 9th in passing yards allowed per game, 10th in rushing yards allowed per game
what might be frustrating is the lack of sacks and turnovers. Rams have 12 sacks, good for 19th. Half as many as the Cowboys. 15th in INTs with 5, 3 fumbles recovered, good for 17th.
So yeah, I'm not frustrated at all. If anything I guess, where is Floyd? 8 of the 12 sacks are from AD, Ramsey and Wagner. Very little edge production.
But it really doesn't matter what the D does, this team will go as far as its OL will take them. And it seems to me, drafting skill positions early and OL late is biting this team in the rear. Everyone knows I was all over Creed Humphrey to the Rams as early as what? August, Sept of his final college season. Its a moot point. I'm a firm believer in building from the inside out, and it would take years to rebuild this line IMO.
Jones is the future, but he also whiffed big time on a long run by CMC, so he has work. He also made some really nice plays. I like the combo of Wags and Jones.
