I totally get what you are saying, and I’d be lying if the thought didn’t cross my mind when Noteboom went down. That being said, are the Rams a SuperBowl contending team that unfortunately lost its LT? I don’t think many believe that to be the case right now.

Bettis, and Peyton Manning had the rare chance to win it all and retire after winning the SB. Whitworth has accomplished almost everything in football wining a high school state championship, a college national championship, and winning the Super Bowl, not to mention NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year. Not bad for a guy who spent a decade plus usually on very bad teams in Cincinnati.

The Rams are blessed to have Whit still working with the OL and passing along his leadership to the group while staying close to the team. Let’s see if AJ Jackson can use this opportunity to develop into a NFL LT, he’s watched and learned on how it’s done .
