He wanted to give Noteboom a shot and for the money he was getting it wasn't worth it to him to stay... Not that he was necessarily done with the game. Also he said he is training the same as if he were playing... So my guess is that maybe he would consider playing in the remaining 11 games... It makes a lot of sense, especially now that Noteboom is out. Put him at LT move Jackson back and get Shelton and Allen back and the Rams suddenly have a potentially good OL again. Getting Jefferson back and figuring out the running game... seems pretty good to me. The defense has played pretty well all season... a few hiccups here and there but damn tough.
