I don't know how many people are at fault or how many people dropped how many balls ... but this is really juvenile and poorly managed.
I am overall stunned at how the psychology of this situation was ignored until it was
1) Too late and
2) Dirty laundry aired on the front page of NFL.com
As someone who deals with psychology it makes me think that McVay and Snead (maybe just McVay) ignore the effect their decisions have on players. The expectations on them to "not be affected" by the demands on their psyche.
You can ignore such things if you want to be old school. That's totally cool. You just better be ready to lose players. Calvin Ridley was a great WR. He's gone now. It'll happen more.
As far as what we can get? If he's packaged correctly he could get us value. If he's "tossed" then there has been a grave error.
