I agree. I think Akers is hesitant to make sharp cutbacks because of the Achilles tear.
If he's not going to hit the obvious hole when it's there, it might be time to call it a day.
I posted in an earlier thread after watching him carefullyt in the Dallas game - hate to say it, but Akers is done.
He doesn't have the heart for it any more.
Whether he has self-doubt to the point where he's thinking about calling it quits, or coach is being too mean to him, (sucki itup and deal with it, son) or he's i9n the cut/trade conversations
OR is dealing with non-football emotional issues... he's done. Move on, give his carries to Brown, find another back, play Williams when he's
fully conditioned and recovered.
