Come on, man. I have family connections to Jake's (although I have never met him) but what I know from his HS and college time at UMD, making the Rams as a 7th rounder was near impossible. But he is a Mr. Never Say Die kind of guy, always a smile for anyone, willing to jump on the grenade, likeable and always a high energy "try" guy. That is how he made the team, excelled at special teams and was a good locker room presence. I wish him well, he exceeded all expectations, overcame two major knee injuries and if he never plays another down in the NFL, he has excelled at life through personality and perseverance.
