on a 1st down IF they pass.....I don't understand why he has not been able to throw quick slants. The most nominal QB's in the league seem to hit quick stuff. He seems to love the sideline area this year, rarely going into the middle of the field.
IMO this should be an area where Sean is saying to look elsewhere to get things going. Stop the 4-5 step drops and go with 1-3 step stuff...quick, quick,quicker....add in fast tempo.....Go left, go right, go middle, go intermediate, go screen, do a jet sweep.....
Get the D not knowing the attack zone, that may slow down the rush.....
