Thing I wondered: Why was Malcom Brown in spread wide???????
Sometimesd i think McVay doublethinks to the point of being so clever he's fooling himself - and unfortunately, nobody else.
There comes a time when you have to put the ball in your best player's hands and have them do what theydo best. With a shot-to-hell offensive line your options to do that are limited.
So: If Brown's forte is taking a handoff and running between the tackles, have him do that. If a lead blocker would help open the hole in absence of a first-string guard, put Skow and Brown in the I and run it.
If successful a time or two, it legitimizes the play-option.
That sort of thing.
