I would think about having Perkins active rather than Wolford.
The reality is - Stafford is going to get killed behind this offensive line and against a Cowboys team that has a fierce pass rush. This matchup is honestly really bad timing with the decimation of our starting O-line.
I think we need to active both backup QBs in case Stafford goes down. And if the pass rush is going to be a jail break every time, which, lets be honest, it basically was vs the 49ers, I wonder if we would be better off having a mobile QB back there rather than another athletic but limited pocket passer.
I'm not saying Perkins is a better backup - just that his style may better fit the circumstances we are facing.
