For the moment, so am I.
Think back, not that far back, to the Deebo run where he went right through/around Jalen before he turned the corner upfield.
Picture Deebo turning that corner, about three or four strides past Ramsey with a full head of steam, with a safety just waiting for him. Picture Tutu squared up, ready to tackle Deebo, but without much room for Deebo to make a cut - maybe some, but not much, and a collision is inevitable.
Seriously, very seriously: I don't want to think about what could happen to Tutu in that situation. Serious.
You speak of Mike Furrey: He was chiseled. His arms/forearms were at once bulky and angular. His fat/muscle ratio must have off the charts - not fat on him.. He was a very lean and very, very muscular 6'0" and 185 - could have carried another 20 lbs if asked to bulk up. Even at smaller overall dimensions, Tutu is nowhere close to that same body type. He is not chiseled, doesn't carry much muscle mass. I worry for what a hit like our own Nick Scott laid on Deebo would do to Tutu.
Tutu's place in the NFL, if he makes it, is exactly where McVay has him slotted - as a potential returner or speedy little wideout who can stretch the D and make an occasional chunk play. He needs to be isoated in space where he will most likely face DB's 1:1 and can hopefully absorb the hits.
Put deliberately into harm's way he would no doubt be harmed - perhaps permanently, seriously. I don't wish that on a little guy who is trying hard to make it.
