Let's face it, we have not seen a whole lotta chemistry with WRs NOT named Kupp when it comes to Stafford, especially this year. Not a good situation for a young / under sized WR to make a splash. And the one who has....McCutcheon..... Even HE has not seen a single pass. It's all why I cannot slam Tu Tu TOO much. Our passing game just seems OFF across the board.......IMO
Let's not blame Stafford for Tutu's "short-comings". He has had "chances" (just not in real games against other STARTING NFL caliber players) and failed to impress anyone.
Think about it Gator, Tutu played a TON last preseason against SCRUBS. He had PLENTY of chances to shine. How did he do against those SCRUBS?
How many big plays did he have?
How many TD's did he score?
Did he do anything to impress you?
Now ask yourself, If Tutu looked less than average against SCRUBS...how good will he look against elite starting caliber DB's? I think we all know the answer now and so does McVay.
Now...compare McCutcheon's preseason to Tutu's...
Did Cutch make any big plays?
Did Cutch score any TD's?
Did Cutch do anything to impress you?
McCutcheon has showed more potential in ONE preseason game than Tutu has in 2 years.
IMO, Cutch hasn't played yet (but he will) due to being RAW and still learning the system but there is no doubt in my mind that IF McVay did play Cutch he would be able to put up better stats than Tutu would.
Tutu would be a "one trick pony" whereas Cutch at least could block better, run a more complete route tree and fight for contested catches better than Tutu ever could.
You have watched football for a looong time Gator. I expect you know talent when you see it. I don't care how many times McVay says he looks great in practice. I just don't see Tutu succeeding in the NFL.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
