Was Coen ready to take over as offensive coordinator? This guy only had one year as an offensive coordinator at the college level.
While Kevin was a former NFL backup QB who played with Tom Brady and had alot of experience as a QB coach and offensive coordinator with the Redskins. Not to mention he spent alot of time on the side line with Matt Stafford during games last season.
Not sure if I've seen Coen even on the side lines talking to Stafford and making adjustment during the game.
I'm not sure, exactly, what Coen's actual duties are.
McVay calls the offensive plays on game day, draws up the plays, makes the personnel decisions as to who's in the 53 and who from taht group is in on a given play; what, exactly, doea Coen do - or to put it in another way, what is he allowed to do?
