That's how I saw it.
With the run game pretty much stifled (aside from that one big play), Shanny had to rely upon Jimmy G (not what he want's to do too often). And he helped his QB by not exposing him to the Rams rush. 3-step drop...BOOM, the ball is out. The 9'ers do a very good job putting their WR's (like Deebo) in space where we, not only have to tackle, but have to rally enough bodies to bring down players that typically require more than one defender to stop.
But overall, if you told me that our defense would give up 17 points to ANY opponent this year...I'd take it and not look back.
