They are down not only Allen and Edwards but lost Shelton early and,Anchrum and Bruss, two of their presumed top 3 backup OL this year, also already gone. A practice squad guy was asked to play center last night against a very good defense.
There isn't a team in the league that has quality 8th, 9th or 10th OL. Not one. If there is a narrative that the team "needs to invest more in the OL" it's false. What they're facing is an injury plague there they have not had under McVay.
Hopefully Shelton can play this weekend and Allen is maybe another week away.
