Re: How Can The Rams Manufacture Outside Pass Rush Pressure On The QB?

When Deacon and Merlin played side-by-side, they had so many stunts and moves between them that oposing tackles or guards didn't know who to block.

Remember that so-called ghost move from Von in the Bills game? He moved behind everybody else and attacked the gap at the center of the OL. That reminded me of the Deacon, or sometimes after a double-stunt at the line, Merlin doing the same thing.

Why not send Donald behind the LOS for a couple of gaps and have him rush from there? He's fast enough to get away with it - especially late in the game.

Many variations: Ashawn to loop behind Donald, etc.

For the most part our DL and outside rushers stay in their lanes. Commendible usually, but without solid outside LB rush, why not gamble a little bit, let the CB's play their positions, and give DC's and opposing QB's something to think about?
