Henderson IS his best RB right now. And that's on Akers - not coach.
I don't think Akers or anybody play with the inward assumption: "Coach is on my case so I'm not even gonna try."
Coach is saying, basically, he needs to get his asz in gear.
If that or an old fashioned lockerroom arse chewing hurt his feelings, he needs to mature a bit, shall we say, and suck it up.
His uncommitted level of play is on him; coach is responding to it.
